HistoryBuff2024 –
This book on Mexico City’s architecture is absolutely stunning. The hardcover feels substantial and well-made, with thick, glossy pages that really showcase the beautiful photographs. I was impressed by how the author traces the city’s evolution from Tenochtitlan through colonial times to modern day. While the price point is a bit steep at $149, the quality and depth of information make it worthwhile for serious history enthusiasts. My only complaint is the book is quite large and heavy, making it difficult to handle casually. Perfect for coffee table display though!
